Black Titanium is an alloy of Titanium and Zirconium, Material is silver until heat is applied and turns black and creates an oxidized layer that is dark black and very durable.
The fast blackening technology for Titanium alloy Bar was developed by CW Materials LLC in Charlotte NC USA. Through a proprietary process using simple equipment, a deep black ceramic like surface, which is not a coating application, is created less than 10 minutes. Delivering all the benefits of the hardness of ceramic but with the ductility of metal.

Recommend blackening process:

Polish the ring as better as you can do, heat the polished ring by a gas torch and a bright black color surface can be obtained in several minutes
