Superconductor

Superconductor cable is designed to carry electrical current by utilizing its unique copper and niobium construction. Superconductor rods are the cut-off during making the cables. As shown in the picture, the black regions are usually an alloy of titanium and niobium and the surrounding region (the red color) is copper.  Superconductors have a density very close to copper. Approximately 8.9 g/cm^3.

Now little company can make these superconductor cables, so the stable supply of these superconductor rods is not available. We are happy to be able to offer this rare material to the maker, art and designers. We'll try our best to fit your project needs.
